Highlights
I stand with Israel. Some people stand with us, some want to learn, others just want to help any way they can. I have been involved with www.youthrenewalfund.org for over three decades. We are a charter high school network in Israel. Many of our schools are located in areas of Israel that were or are in the center of shelling. We have students and alumni who have been killed or kidnapped. We are working hard to support the families in every way we can, many of whom have had to relocate. If you want to learn more about YRF/DARCA schools and how we will help the high schools students and their families---happy to connect. https://lnkd.in/eSJ4ZMqE.
Remember to be grateful for Monday mornings. And to say thanks.
When I was a young lawyer at a firm and miserable, Monday morning was simply depressing. Sometimes, even now, Mondays can be tough when you are looking at a wall of work ahead of you. BUT instead we can choose to be grateful and to pass it forward.
Today I got the nicest message from a candidate.
He said that he wasn't sure if I would remember him as we had placed him decades ago and that he is healthy and content at 68 and now fully retired.
He said he wanted to thank "people like you who had a part to play in my meaningful life. So be well and know that you will be remembered by people like me." WOW.
A simple thank you can make you feel so great.
I am truly blessed to work with the most amazing team and also clients and candidates who appreciate what we do for them. He has inspired me to make sure to keep reaching out to thank others.
