Highlights
We have had an incredible few days in Kigali with the CEF (Christian Economic Forum) Africa Summit discussing the different ways to accelerate entrepreneurship to build a thriving middle class and ultimately stop the revolving door of the middle class.
The challenges are plenty but I was reminded of an old African proverb 'If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far then go together'
I'm skeptical that smart cities are where most attention is needed but some good insights into how we can make African cities more liveable from a physical, social, and cultural perspective and how private businesses are addressing many of these challenges.
We are still behind the urbanization rates of Europe/America/Asia but by 2030 approximately 50% of Africa’s population will be living in urban areas and then that population is projected to double by 2050.

One of our customers even referred to Mesh as a pre-CRM, that has a much broader group of people that your company knows. Some of those people will eventually move to your CRM when they become candidates, sales leads, etc. Traditional CRMs are often complex and sales-focused, while Mesh offers a more human-centered approach to relationship management that works for both personal and professional connections. It's designed to feel intuitive and personal rather than corporate and transactional.
