The most annoying nudge keeps popping up everytime I make a typo... Behaviour change strategies should really make you change because you want the solution, not because it's the only way to make the annoying nudge disappear. The thing is, it probably still works!

I've been at The Good Side for 2 weeks now, so it's time I shared some of the amazing work we're doing! As well as insights, we also have an incredible creative team who have been working with the launch of Celebration Day - on June 26. Its goal is to provide a space for people to celebrate the people who brought joy to our lives, but are no longer with us.

In our busy lives, on our personal journeys, it’s all too easy to forget how we got where we are today, and the people who helped shape us; family, friends, lovers and ancestors.

The Good Side worked with seven diverse Britons to tell their stories of turning loss into a sense of purpose, grounding this new cultural moment in real lives and behaviours.

Gary McKee has been running a marathon every day for 365 days to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Yes, every day! A truly incredible feat to honour his late father who gave as much as he could to the community. His father’s “it’s not what you’ve got, it’s what you can give” attitude is what motivates him every step of the way.

As a father myself, it’s made me think about how I can be a better role model to my boys and, who knows, maybe some day they'll feel inspired to run 365 marathons for charity...

This is the second of seven films Good Siders will be sharing up until June the 26th so keep on the look out - they all tell amazing and incredibly personal stories.

The 26th is a great opportunity to think about: Whose life will you celebrate?
