Peter Platt is the founder and owner of Andina Restaurant, a renowned establishment showcasing Peruvian cuisine in the Northwest.

Andina Restaurant, founded in 2003, has garnered multiple awards for its fine dining experience, contributing a portion of its profits towards international development efforts in Peru.

Peter's background includes project development work in Peru for Mercy Corps and serving on the boards of the Oregon Food Bank and Hacienda CDC.

He holds an MBA from Yale School of Management with a focus on social entrepreneurship and a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Harvard University.

Peter is the President of La Costa Verde, LLC, which oversees Andina's operations, and sits on the Prosper Portland Board of Commissioners.

A leader in sustainable sourcing, Peter has established direct trade relationships with organic farmers in Peru and local suppliers, emphasizing Andina's commitment to promoting Peruvian culture.

Under his guidance, Andina has become the largest independently owned restaurant in Portland and the third-largest Hispanic-owned business in Oregon.

Transitioning towards B-Corporation certification, Andina aims to further its mission as a socially and environmentally responsible enterprise.
