Peter Thomas

Professor, Case Western Reserve University

Peter Thomas is a distinguished scholar with a background in mathematics, applied math, mathematical biology, computational neuroscience, information theory, and computational cell biology.

He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and completed his BA in Physics & Philosophy at Yale University.

Peter has held various academic positions including Professor of Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics at Case Western Reserve University.

He has also been a Visiting Scholar at Humboldt University, an Assistant Professor at Oberlin College, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, as well as a Corps Member and Alumnus at Teach for America.

Peter has a strong research background and has contributed significantly to the fields of applied math, mathematical biology, and computational neuroscience.

He has been recognized as a Distinguished Scholar in Residence at the Mathematical Biosciences Institute at Ohio State University.
