Phatthaworn (Tao) Phongphaew, known as Tao, boasts two decades of extensive experience in product & technology within the media, OTT streaming, and marketing sectors.

Tao has a diverse background working in companies at different growth stages, ranging from founding successful startups to contributing to the strategies of multinational listed firms.

Currently, Tao serves as the Head of Creative & Marketing Technology in the Global Platform Services division at Warner Bros. Discovery, overseeing the Global Creative Automation team responsible for innovative solutions utilized by creative and marketing teams worldwide to enhance direct-to-consumer products.

Previously, Tao led various cross-functional teams at Warner Bros. Discovery, focusing on product management, engineering, and operations to launch direct-to-consumer & OTT products in the Asia-Pacific region.

Tao's educational achievements include completing the Executive Program in Digital Business Strategy at MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master of Science in Technology Management from Thammasat University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.

Throughout his career, Tao has held key positions such as Head of APAC, Dplay, Director of Product & Technology at Discovery Kids Global, and Chief Product Officer at PrimeTime, among others.

Passionate about blockchain and cryptocurrencies, Tao brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to the tech and media industries.
