Highlights
Wrapping up a great two weeks in Minnesota, one of two states where Raspberry Pi Foundation is focusing our efforts to support equitable access to computer science education in the USA. Great meetings with policy makers, industry and nonprofit partners, educators from across the state, and youth and community leaders. I have learnt so much and I am excited about our future collaborations.
We were delighted to co-host the Empower MN:CS teacher professional development event with Jennifer Rosato and the Northern Lights Collaborative at the University of Minnesota.
Huge thanks to BROADCOM FOUNDATION, 3M and MNTech for supporting our teacher professional development programme in Minnesota this summer.
Such a pleasure to join friends and colleagues tonight to celebrate the incredible contribution that David Halpern made in 14 years of founding and leading the The Behavioural Insights Team.
Great to hear all of the tributes to him and remember some of the stories where David changed the world for the better, whether that was changing policy that impacted millions or supporting colleagues and friends. Who could forget the scrotum executive toy to combat testicular cancer (which still needs to be brought to market).
Can’t wait to see what you do next my friend!
