Highlights
After 8 beautiful years, it’s time for me to say goodbye to 87seconds.
It was an honour to be captain for this long, through good & through heavy weather. I will miss the team and its incomparable company culture, but I can assure that succession is guaranteed with anciens Dimitri Cleeren and Frederic De Decker, taking over daily management in Brussels, supported by Jerome Houdry. They are already achieving promising results this first HY 2021.
And of course, I'm wishing all the best to the best of the best kick ass team members ever; Laura, Olivier, Pauline, Augustine, Olivia, Antoine, Anton, Augustin, Lionel & Max.
I remember those first bootstrap startup years as if they were yesterday, in our little cubicle in rue des pères blancs in 2012, growing from a small animation studio into a global content agency, travelling around Europe opening offices, growing an 80+ team and ending up partnering with Datawords Group in 2018. And above all, co-creating so much beautiful content. What an adventure. Thanks to all of the people that believed in us; our friends, family, colleagues, freelancers, partners and clients.
Special mention of course and lots of gratitude to my buddy & partner in crime Thibaut Dehem with whom surfing the waves day in day out was a sometimes challenging but real eye-opening and learnful journey, and also Violaine Mouchet, Maarten van der Weijden, Olivier Simonis, Olivier Verdin, Sandrine Hubain, Loïc Steelandt, Pablo Modrego, Noémie Evrard, Simon Schu, Elise Leonard, Alexander Landa, Andres Arevalo, Bart Dhooge, Jolien Claes, and many many others, that all contributed to 87seconds story.
Time has come for me now to work on the next chapter, on something new, which I hope to unveil soon. And in the meantime, don't hesitate to get in touch, coffee is on me.
Take care 87seconds ❤️🚀
