Philippe-Olivier Kaul

Philippe-Olivier Kaul is a French politician who has been active in European politics. He was born on August 30, 1961, and is a member of the National Rally party. In 2019, he was elected as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and successfully re-elected in 2024. Prior to his tenure in the European Parliament, Kaul ran for a seat in the French parliamentary elections in 2017 but was defeated in the second round by the Republican candidate Pierre-Henri Dumont in Pas-de-Calais's 7th constituency.1

Kaul is also notable for his family connections; he is married to Marie-Caroline Le Pen, who is the sister of Marine Le Pen, a prominent figure in French politics and a presidential candidate.1
