After some early press coverage, Meiwin Fu, @Zihui Chen, and me are proud to announce our second app: Yolk.fm

Yolk is a social app where you message with live stickers. There’s no words.

Yolk instantly stickerizes anything you point your front or back camera at. It lets you communicate through your face and what you see to say what words can't.

TechCrunch described us as a "real-time AI sticker gun" that captures expressive motion.

✨ How? Yolk uses a blend of cutting edge on-device camera AI technologies.

There's 3 AI models running on-device. Object detection, foreground / background segmentation (both using Vision API, Apple’s on-device computer vision ML model) and an open sourced face parsing model (a model to recognize the different landmarks on a face; e.g. eyes, nose, ears).

❓ Why? We built Yolk as we noticed that - to maximise ad revenue - old social media has turned into TV.

Yolk is part of social 2.0; a new wave of more playful & liberating social experiences powered by AI.

🍳 Drigmo? Yolk marks the start of our multi-app strategy. Drigmo is still live and our community continues to compound rich visual data around the best places to visit around the world.

So far Drigsters have curated over 50k places and added close to 10k memories.

🌱 Funding? We're proud to be backed by some of the most respected and experienced investors and builders.
