Prabu Rajasekaran

Content Marketer & SEO

Prabu Rajasekaran is a professional associated with Paretoid Consulting, a Subashakthi Company.2 However, there seems to be a discrepancy in the job title mentioned in the query. Based on the available information, Prabu is primarily described as a Content Marketer rather than a UX Consultant.12

Professional Background

Prabu Rajasekaran started his career as a content writer and has since transitioned into content marketing.1 He is currently building a content marketing agency at Paretoid.1 His professional focus appears to be on content strategy, marketing, and SEO rather than UX design.3

Skills and Expertise

Prabu's expertise includes:

  • Content marketing
  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • Business development
  • Client relations

He has been noted for his ability to help businesses land new projects, connect with new clients, and expand their operations through his writing and case study efforts.2

Professional Network

Prabu is active in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly in Chennai. He has been featured as a speaker at eChai events, which are networking platforms for entrepreneurs and professionals.14 This involvement suggests that he is well-connected within the business community and likely shares his expertise in content marketing and business growth strategies.

While the query mentions Prabu as a UX Consultant, the available information consistently refers to him as a Content Marketer. It's possible that his role involves aspects of user experience as it relates to content strategy, but his primary focus appears to be on content marketing and SEO.

My uncle lost his optical lenses one day. All of us started looking for it - over the wash basin, on the dining table, on my uncle’s bedside table. He got worried about the expense in the offing.

In my mind’s eye, I saw a marker on the lenses which were on the kitchen shelf.

I told my uncle to go to the kitchen.

“Here it is”, he yelled in joy!

Another time, Prasanna, my childhood friend and classmate, had misplaced the USB port of his mouse. Without the port both his keyboard and mouse would become scrap.

I saw a bright marker on another mouse. And behold, the USB port was inside another mouse of his!

From then on, I came to be known as the finder boy. Whenever someone wanted to find something, they called me. Sometimes even before searching for it themselves!

My mom bragged about this to my cousin, Maran. For the 15th time, and he got fed up.

This time, he had a retort at the tip of his tongue.

“Can your son find some customers for my consulting startup? My offering is good, but I’m scraping to get any leads”. He sounded both worried and provocative (yes, he made it possible!)

She wasn’t expecting it. Neither was I!

However, in my mind, I saw a marker glowing on the words “competitor comparison landing pages”.

“Create a bunch of competitor comparison landing pages and tailor them to your ideal customer profile!”

Now, Maran didn’t expect such a quick reply.

He said, “It never occurred to me! Coming to think of it, that’s what I do on my sales calls. But I can't write well. I wish I had a good writer on my team.”

I said, “that’s exactly what we’re here for - to position your product distinctly amongst your competitors, with content marketing. To present you as an authority in your industry.”

FIVE WAYS TO MAKE YOUR CONTENT, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES STAND APART

  1. Physical effort: think of how your solution can minimize physical tasks, streamline processes, eliminate tools, etc.

  2. Mental effort: imagine how your solution can simplify complexity, make it easy to understand, incorporate step-by-step workflows, facilitate decision-making

  3. Money: How can you make your solution more affordable? Can it be free? Does it have payment plans? Is the value high relative to the cost? Are there bonuses? Is it risk-free?

  4. Time: How can your solution save time? How does the time saved / recovered amplify opportunities?

  5. Routine: You don't want to force your customer/reader adopt yet another thing. How can your solution fit into their toolset/team/platform?
