Prasad Gudem is a distinguished professional currently serving as the Vice President at Qualcomm and an Adjunct Professor at the University of California, San Diego, UCSD.

With over 20 years of extensive experience, Prasad has been a key leader in the development of RFIC cellular products, contributing to the successful commercial launch of 5 RFIC products.

He holds more than 50 patents, with 10 of them having been utilized in commercial products, and has also authored over 50 IEEE refereed publications, establishing himself as a thought leader in his field.

Prasad's academic achievements include receiving the 'Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award' at UCSD and co-supervising 12 Ph.D. students at the university between 2000-2012.

His educational background comprises a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Prior to his current roles, Prasad held technical advisory positions at Analog/RF companies, served as Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm Technologies Inc., and worked as a Manager and Research Staff Member at the T. J. Watson Research Center at IBM, along with a senior engineering role at Cadence Design Systems.
