Highlights
Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) aims to develop cryptographic systems that are secure against attacks from both classical and quantum computers. It's a response to the potential threat posed by quantum computers, which could break many of the currently used cryptographic algorithms.
Classical cryptography, deployed in current systems relies on mathematical problems (e.g., factorization, discrete logarithm) is vulnerable to attacks from quantum computers, PQC is based on different mathematical problems (e.g. lattices, codes, hash-based signatures) and is resistant to quantum computer attacks.
3 out of 4 finalists PQC algorithms have been standardized by NIST on 08/13th. 2 are Lattice-based.
Note: PQC ≠ Quantum Cryptography
Excited to Announce My New Role at Wells Fargo! (Even though it started a little while back)
I'm thrilled to finally share that I've joined Wells Fargo as Principal Architect - Cybersecurity! While I actually started this exciting new adventure late last year, I wanted to take some time to get settled in before making the official announcement.
I'm incredibly grateful to my former colleagues at Capgemini for their support and the amazing experiences I had there.
Looking forward to connecting with everyone at Wells Fargo and continuing to learn and grow in this new chapter!
