Highlights
Coming back to work after 7 months of maternity leave feels so unrealistic. The past months seem forever from the point of view of a new mom, going through labor and becoming parents are among the best and also the hardest things one can ever experience. This morning leaving my 6-month-old baby at daycare after a week of adaption still feels tremendously hard.
Nothing prepares us for this kind of separation while we are among the lucky ones to have paid maternity leave in France and parental leave. I now admire even more all the working moms (working dads are great too but it is still way different how the arrival of a child impacts female).
A small thought on this particular morning, for all the working moms <3
