"We need women who are so strong they can be gentle, so fierce they can be compassionate." - Kavita Ramdas, Former Head of the Global Fund for Women

I am having a lot of conversations with women that have few words. Stunned speechless dismay, what is there to say when it seems there are no answers?

How can we stand up against entrenched forces that are unyielding and pervasive and hell bent on stripping away our sovereign rights?

Where do we go when there is no clear path forward?

How do we stand for goodness and justice when the ground beneath our feet is groundless?

The only thing I know know for sure is the path that got us here is not going to be the way out.

It is a profound act of rebellion to choose our wellbeing, to claim our joy in the face of impossible disappointment. No one can take that from us.

When it all feels too big and overwhelming, zoom in and come back to your immediate surroundings, back to yourself.

Feel your body, connect to your breath and give yourself the gift of self-kindness and let the strength and clarify of compassion guide you.

Reflection is a powerful skill unique to our species, but often we’re stuck in reaction mode.

The longest day of the year offers a natural midpoint to reflect and reimagine.

Now is as good a time as any to pause and peer back to the start of the year.

What did you invision for 2022?

How can you adapt and recommit for the remainder of the year?

How can you prioritize your well-being as an essential ingredient for your impact?

How can you do less and be more?

Be fiercely honest and compassionate with yourself, and decide to begin again.

That’s the power of presence and the beauty of reflection, both are on offer in every moment for you to claim.

My main intention is to pay attention more.

What’s yours?
