Rachel Hartman is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in liberal arts, English literature, and education.

Rachel holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in English focusing on 20th Century American Literature from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and an M.Ed. in Secondary English Education from the City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College.

With a robust professional history, Rachel has held significant roles in various organizations. She currently serves as the Co-Executive Producer in the Animation department at StoryCorps.

Prior to her current position, Rachel has gained experience in different capacities at StoryCorps, including roles such as Producer and Coordinating Producer in Content Distribution within the Animation division.

Rachel's early career includes positions such as Production Assistant at Thirteen/WNET and Production Intern at WNYC Radio for The Leonard Lopate Show.

Her passion for education is evident through her experience as an Adjunct Instructor at New York City College of Technology, a Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University, and a High School English Teacher at the New York City Department of Education.
