Rachel James is a seasoned Documentary Radio and Media Artist with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various roles within the media industry.

She holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honours in Cultural Anthropology from Concordia University, MA in Adult Education and Community Development from the University of Toronto, and has specialized in Documentary Radio at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.

Rachel has worked with several prestigious organizations, including being a Co-Director at The School of Making Thinking, a Producer at Creative Time & Brooklyn Museum for 'Between the Door and the Street', a Producer at Magnum Foundation for 'La Ruta', a Reporter at This American Life, and an Assistant at Radiolab.

Her experience also includes roles as a Community Development Facilitator at Talking Prison, Creating Art & Making Justice program, a Creative Writing Facilitator at Sketch for street-involved and homeless youth, and a Feature Reporter and Technician at Take 5 CIUT 89.5 FM.
