Happy Friday everyone! Have you ever volunteered your time and had it change your life?

For me, it's been volunteering with Friday Night Out. As an online and in-person host for this social event for adults with special needs (and abilities), I've had the privilege of witnessing firsthand how some live and love with open hearts, how some want the same things we all do but face numerous challenges to living independently, having meaningful relationships, enjoyable work, and a sense of community.

Since 2020, I've been volunteering with Friday Night Out online and I can honestly say that it's been life-changing. Not only have I had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the participants, but they've made a difference in mine as well.

I've heard and felt the experiences shared by parents who want the best and the most for their loved ones, and the challenges they face to make it happen.

So, I ask you, what types of organizations have you volunteered with that have changed your life? Share your experiences in the comments below. #FridayNightOut #volunteerism #communityimpact

So much discussion of clinical interoperability— it’s time to focus on admin interoperability, especially when it comes to revenue cycle.
