Rachel Thompson

Rachel Thompson is a highly educated professional with a versatile background in anthropology, French, and design thinking. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and French from Kansas State University, as well as studied at Université Paris Diderot and Université Stendhal (Grenoble III).

In her career, Rachel has held various roles showcasing her diverse skill set. She is the Founder and Strategic Director of Daring Studios, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and leadership abilities. Additionally, she has served as an Adjunct Instructor at the Maryland Institute College of Art and as a Design Thinking Facilitator at UMD Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Rachel's professional journey includes experiences such as being a Grant Coordinator at John Hopkins Sibley Innovation Hub, a Co-Organizer, and Facilitator at DC Graphic Facilitation Meetup, and an Assistant Director at Design Thinking DC. She has also worked as a Creative Strategist, Facilitator, and Corporate Operations Manager at Cobec Consulting, Inc., showcasing her strategic thinking and management skills.

Furthermore, Rachel has a background in program coordination, having served as a Program Coordinator of Operations at Envision Experience. Her teaching experience includes being an Operations Team Member, Faculty Advisor, and Cultural Anthropology Teaching Assistant at Kansas State University, highlighting her passion for education and cultural studies.
