Highlights
Most of you know that I'm the CEO of Qcify, a Belgian-American company but what not too many people know is that we assign $500/sold machine for good causes, non-profits and social projects.
That's how we got to know TUKI vzw, a non-subsidized non-profit organization that is committed to supporting parents of children with life-threatening diseases financially, administratively, practically and emotionally.
Through Tuki we've recently gotten in contact with the Verheyden family. Their eldest son, Bas, has a very rare immune disease for which he is now being enrolled in a clinical trial at Stanford. Bas and his dad are currently in California for tests and prep-work. Starting in August and through December their entire family will move from Belgium to Stanford for the gene therapy trial.
Unfortunately, they just got the news that their health insurance will not cover the 2 or 3 drips (infuses) he needs to get while being in California. And that's why I was in touch with the family to see if they're ok with us organizing a fundraiser in hopes it gets the money together to cover the drips.
So as we move into 4th of July weekend I hope you join the Qcify team in supporting this family. Any donation is much appreciated but even if you could just share this fundraiser via your network that would be great. Here's the link to the GoFundMe campaign:
