Highlights
Back in 2021, when Sprinto was still in its infancy, our conversations were mostly with Founders or CTOs. There was one problem that came up a lot, it was the information assymetry in the compliance process.
Information was sparse— most orgs had to rely on their consultant completely and take their word as the bible. If a better way existed, it was unknown to most and Google searches didn't yield any actionable info. At that point, only chats with fellow founders who had been there and done that was the go-to to validate whether they were getting the short end of the stick.
Most folks just wanted to avoid the whole process altogether unless it was business critical. (It almost always is when you're trying to grow)
Fast forward to today, and it's amazing to see how our interactions have evolved. We're no longer just speaking with CTOs—we're engaging with a much broader audience across various roles, there has been an evolution of the GRC function from a 'single person problem' to an organizational priority.
The landscape has changed, with more awareness and resources, but the information assymetry? It's still there.
When we set out to build Sprinto, our goal was clear: create a solution that makes compliance faster & easier and above all help businesses understand compliance (The why behind the endless tasks) so they could use it as a growth lever.
Now we realise that to really solve for this assymetry, we need to democratize insider information, and that's what we plan to do with our newsletter.
