#MyGACstory
Prior to ABI I worked at an agricultural MNC, trying to grow the best wheat, corn and barley, ingredients that go into making some of the best beer in the world (Looking at you #budweiser). And before that I worked at a startup trying to find novel drugs for diabetes and steatohepatitis (You get this disease through irresponsible consumption of alcohol :) ). When I was being interviewed at ABI one of the questions that I was asked was, "Why ABI?" --- My answer: "I have worked in an industry upstream of the beer industry trying to grow the best raw material to make beer and I've also worked downstream of the beer industry trying to understand the effects of excessive consumption of beer, I guess it's high time I actually worked in the beer industry :) . Well it's been 4 years and 3 months since I joined the World's Best Beer Company and it's been a great ride.
Dream, People & Culture, these are the 3 pillars that support ABInbev. The dream of bringing people together for a better world is one that resonates with me. The focus on responsible drinking and environmental sustainability are worthy goals befitting the Best damn beer company in the world. The people I've worked with over these 51 months have been the best that I've worked with (Looking at you Nitesh Bhardwaj, Felipe Aragao, Guru Raja, Vipul Manocha, Gaurabh Singhvi, Tapas Ray, Sidharth P., Amit Arora, Maninder Singh Grewal, Vamsi Grandhi, Madhur Bhatia, Rahul Prakash, Serge De Vos, Shankar Ganesh, Senthil Nathan Murugappan, Shri Vijay Kumar K S, Namrata Meena, Arushi Gupta, Souvik Kundu, Sasikala Nagireddy, Deeksha -, Joy Ghosh, Onur Toprak, Obrad Scepanovic, Janu Sahana, Varnita Pasula, Arun S., and many more). The culture of #ownership and #customercentricity with #noshortcuts symbolizes ABI. I'm proud to say that I work at #GAC and #abinbev. Looking forward to many more years with my #GACFamily
