Highlights
It was a fun experience to host Prabhas Moghe at Octant today. Professor Moghe was my Biochemical Engineering professor over 20 years ago (now the Chief Academic Officer at Rutgers University). I'll never forget my first class with Professor Moghe. He had a pace and posture of urgency as he walked around the room talking to us. He was super demanding and clear that he refused to accept anything other than excellence in our work. I often find myself reconnecting with the feeling I had that day, that I wanted to get after it, to solve hard problems, to expect more of myself.
It was an honor to show him around our office and labs and talk about the hard work he's doing to prepare the next generation of students for a very different future. I can't imagine all the students he's inspired along the way, the things they've built, and the ways they've contributed to society. I'm immensely thankful for people who have dedicated their careers to that.
