🎉I'm Back & Feeling Grateful! Also, happy International Women's Day! 🫶
I am both humbled and excited to announce my return from maternity leave. The past few months have been an incredible journey of growth, not just as a mom but also in appreciating the remarkable support and flexibility provided by my team at Clara. A massive shoutout to my amazing colleagues, who have been instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition during my absence. Your dedication and hard work have kept our mission moving forward, and I am incredibly thankful.
Let me share a bit for those of you who might need to become more familiar with what we do at Clara. Clara is the leading spend management platform for companies in Latin America. Our end-to-end solution includes locally issued corporate cards, Bill Pay, financing solutions, and our highly rated Spend Management platform, used by thousands of the most successful companies across the region.
During my absence, I was thrilled to see our incredible team launch game-changing features such as Clara Conta, expanding our reach to 🇧🇷 and integrating with every primary wallet payment system, including Apple Pay and many other exciting features.
As I return from maternity leave, I can't help but reflect on the spectrum of emotions I've experienced - excitement, guilt, anxiety, and more. It's a journey that many of you, especially the working moms, can relate to. I've been fortunate to have an overwhelmingly positive experience, thanks to the supportive culture at Clara. But I am aware that this isn't everyone's reality. I want to extend my thoughts and support to all the working moms 💜
Special shoutouts to our Engineering Leadership Team, Fabio Silva, Jonathan Contreras, Eduardo Antonio Dávalos Camarena, Rodrigo Garcia Gonzalez, Mauro Parra-Miranda, and Miguel López Parada for their support and for keeping the ship sailing smoothly in my absence. And also a big shoutout to our leaders who have worked very hard to build our culture at Clara, Diego Iván García Escobedo, Gerry Giacomán Colyer, and Carolina Astaiza 💜
Since today is International Women's Day, I want to extend my admiration and support to all women in technology. Their contributions advance their fields and lay the groundwork for a more inclusive and equitable industry. Here's to celebrating the remarkable achievements of women Engineers, Designers, Product Owners, Data Scientists, Engineer Leaders, Marketing Managers, and all those who lead by example, proving that there are no limits to what can be accomplished with the proper support and opportunities. I'm excited about the future we are building for our daughters.
Here's a picture of our baby Sofia, who just turned 4 months old 👶🏽
