Rashid Ferrod Davis has accumulated over 20 years of valuable experience within the New York City Department of Education, showcasing expertise in large high schools and small school settings.

His diverse roles have included Teacher, Small Learning Community Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Founding Principal, allowing him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the education system.

Specializing in mentoring, private/public partnerships, master programming, college readiness, data analysis, public speaking, innovative scheduling, and STEM education, Rashid has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing educational opportunities and outcomes for all students.

His educational background is extensive, having pursued advanced degrees including EdD in Urban Leadership from Fordham University, MA in English Education from Teachers College of Columbia University, MS in Education from Fordham University, and MS in Publishing from Pace University-New York, in addition to a BA in English from Morehouse College.

Noteworthy affiliations include being the Founding Principal at Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH), as well as previously holding key positions such as Principal, Assistant Principal, and Small Learning Community Coordinator/English Teacher at the NYC Department of Education.
