Raymond Dagastine is an accomplished Professor with a strong background in interfacial forces and phenomena, specializing in research on drops, bubbles, particles, emulsion, foam stability, and formulation problems.

He obtained his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering with distinction from the University of Delaware.

Raymond Dagastine has extensive experience in leading collaborative scientific research projects and developing interdisciplinary research infrastructure.

He is currently the Co-Founder and Director at Tiny Bright Things and has held various roles at The University of Melbourne including Deputy Head Of Department, Initiative Chair, Professor, Deputy Director, Australian Research Council Future Fellow, Associate Professor, Reader, and Senior Lecturer.

With a background as a Senior Technology Fellow at Melbourne Centre for Nanofabrication and having served as an NSF International Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Raymond Dagastine brings a wealth of expertise to the field of colloid and interfacial science.
