Rebecca Alvarez Story is the Founder and CEO of Bloomi, a sexologist-led intimacy company, based in the Bay Area. She is an award-winning sexologist, entrepreneur, and speaker with a focus on normalizing sexual wellness. Rebecca has made significant strides in the industry, especially by creating clean intimacy essentials for all bodies and being a prominent Latina figure in the field.

Rebecca's achievements include raising over a million in venture capital, leading the first Latina-founded brand to launch nationwide in the sexual wellness aisle at Target, and being recognized as a Changemaker by Well+Good, Next 1000 by Forbes, and Top 24 Changing Culture in 2024 by PureWow. She has also been featured in top publications like Forbes, Refinery29, and more.

With a background in women's health and intimacy studies, Rebecca has a strong foundation in the industry. She holds a BA in Women's Health & Sexuality from UC Berkeley and an MA in Sexology from San Francisco State University. Additionally, she participated in the LBAN Scaling Cohort 15 program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Before founding Bloomi, Rebecca worked in various capacities, including leading women's health and intimacy-focused clinical studies and product development. Her expertise lies in successfully managing and executing clinical studies, bringing products to market, and advocating for diversity initiatives especially benefiting BIPOC entrepreneurs. Rebecca is also a proud daughter of Latine immigrants.

Rebecca currently resides in the Bay Area with her husband and two daughters, balancing her professional endeavors with her personal life.
