Rebecca Bigman is an accomplished professional with a robust background in education and Jewish studies, specializing in the promotion of Jewish culture and education within various community settings. In her role as the Israel Programs Coordinator at the Union for Reform Judaism, Rebecca has demonstrated her ability to design and implement impactful educational programs that foster a connection to Israel and Jewish heritage among community members. Her extensive experience as a Birthright Madricha for Birthright Israel highlights her dedication to facilitating meaningful experiences for young adults, enabling them to explore their Jewish identity while visiting their ancestral homeland.
Rebecca's career also includes significant involvement in various organizations related to Jewish education and community development. As an intern in the Education Department at the Foundation for Jewish Camp, she contributed to initiatives that enhance Jewish camping experiences, benefitting both children and their families by creating enriching educational opportunities beyond the classroom.
Her leadership capabilities were further refined during her tenure as Unit Leader at Young Judaea Sprout Lake, where she guided campers through transformative experiences while instilling in them the values of community and relationship-building.
