Rebecca DuMaine Miller has a rich background in voice production, speech, and dialect training, with over a decade of experience teaching in various prestigious acting programs on the East Coast before moving to the West Coast in 2010.

She started teaching while pursuing her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Acting at Rutgers University and subsequently completed her Linklater Voice Designation in 2003.

Rebecca has been a valued faculty member at institutions like SUNY Purchase, NYU's Cap 21, and Pace University, where she contributed to both undergraduate and graduate programs, culminating in designing the speech curriculum at The Actors Studio Graduate Acting Program at Pace University.

Since 2010, Rebecca has been teaching at the Academy of Art University's graduate acting program and Waterfront Playhouse and Conservatory in Berkeley, bringing her expertise to the West Coast. She has also provided vocal and dialect coaching for theater productions in the Bay Area and worked with organizations like Cornell Voice and Voices of Influence, coaching professionals internationally, including workshops in Sydney, Australia.

In addition to her teaching career, Rebecca is a renowned jazz singer with six albums released under the Summit Records label. Her albums like 'Deed I Do', 'Better than Anything', and 'The Consequence of You' have garnered critical acclaim and even preliminary Grammy nominations in the Jazz Vocal Album category.

Rebecca DuMaine Miller continues to combine her passion for music and her dedication to vocal training, making a significant impact on both the academic and artistic communities.
