Rebecca Hill is a talented design strategist and landscape architect renowned for her expertise in integrating high-performance landscape techniques into urban spaces to address modern challenges. With a deep-rooted belief in the transformative power of landscapes, she creates innovative solutions using green spaces to help clients tackle tough questions and enhance people's lives.

Her career journey includes conducting impactful research on climate change's impact on landscapes and studying neighborhood structures in various cities like Berkeley, Los Angeles, Kyoto, and post-WWII Soviet Bloc regions. Rebecca's dedication to environmental issues earned her grants, including the prestigious New York State Council on the Arts Grant in 2013 for researching post-Hurricane Irene flooding in upstate New York. She has been a featured speaker at prominent conferences like the Rising Urbanists Conference, Mohawk River Watershed Conference, and the Mighty Waters Symposium, hosted by Congressman Paul Tonko. Currently, she serves as a Fellow at The Design Trust for Public Space, highlighting her commitment to advancing public space design.

Rebecca's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Swarthmore College and a Master's in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. Her academic journey laid a solid foundation for her successful career as a licensed landscape architect in New York and New Jersey. Before pursuing her master's degree, she gained valuable experience as a researcher at UCSF, focusing on HIV studies, and served as an environmental educator at Slide Ranch. Her diverse professional experience includes roles at esteemed organizations like Design Workshop, University of Southern California, Design Trust for Public Space, RAFT Landscape, dlandstudio llc, and Hargreaves Associates, among others.
