Highlights
I totally get it. Before you sign up to work with a consultancy, you want to know what they're like.
You've probably exchanged DMs and a few emails, and possibly even had a coffee or two together.
But when the consultancy is a partnership, the dynamic can be different – who will lead on what? How do their different strengths work together? Who's going to be my go-to when I need help with writing, strategy or tech?!
When you sign up to work with us at Nourish Communications, this reel sums up what you can expect: Us playing to our individual strengths, and having fun while we do it ☯

Well that was scary! But it was also really rewarding, a lot of fun, and a huge learning curve.
Before the end of June, I’d never co-hosted a networking event before. But now? I enjoyed it so much we’re planning another one for later in the year.
Together with Leon Clark Consulting, I - the UK office of Nourish Communications - hosted a free summer networking and launch event at the beautiful Hanbury Hall Coworking in Spitalfields, east London.
We had about 45 people join us - some seasoned networkers, others new to it all and apprehensive and/or curious about speaking to new people.
Thanks to Andrew Beasley Lebby Eyres Jane Anderson Catherine Lewendon Katie Bamber John Lewisohn Nathan Dorrington Ally Rea Tamara Barklem Linda Tai Charlotte Akinola Valerian Spicer Louise Lawrence Josh Peck India Dowley Greg Browne Nisha Patel and many more for coming along to support us.
On reflection, there are a few things we could have done better, but as a first attempt, I’m happy - and the feedback we’ve received has been really positive. The fact it wasn’t industry-specific went down well, as did splitting into small groups then moving round every 10 minutes to maximise the number of people everyone met and spoke to.
And personally, it’s already led to a couple of promising conversations - and who knows what the ripple effect will be of hosting something like this?
I’m keen to build on the support this offers fellow small business owners - both with growing your network and marketing your business - so would love to talk more if this is true for you too.
And if you’d like to know when we plan another one, sign up to the Nourish mailing list here: https://lnkd.in/dYFehwXj
Turns out it's pretty rewarding getting out of your comfort zone - thanks Leon for giving me the nudge!
