Such an honour to bring together amazing stakeholders to celebrate LaunchVic's Alice Anderson Fund this morning at our pre-International Women's Day event.

A big thank you to our speakers, Susan Oliver AM (Alice Anderson Fund's incredible Investment Committee Chair), Jodi Geddes and Kate Pollard (Alice Anderson Fund Portfolio founders of Circle In and Well) and LaunchVic's own Kate Cornick who had an insightful fireside chat with Elana Rubin.

Our speakers acknowledged that we stand on the shoulders of all the amazing trailblazing women who came before us. One of which our Fund is named after - Alice Anderson - who conceived of women's advancement through economic and professional equality - a goal that our Fund continues to support Victorian women founders to achieve.

The quest for equality is certainly not over, but we are tackling the lack of funding that women-led founders receive head on. Hat's off also to others in the VC industry who are doing the same. The Equity Clear initiative led by Samar Mcheileh and Lisa Fedorenko is gaining much needed traction and collaboration amongst Venture Capital Firms, encouraging transparency of diversity metrics so we can all move towards a more balanced representation in the funding landscape.
