Highlights
This weekend I am proudly presenting at the Canadian Association of Gerontology's annual conference in Moncton, New Brunswick.
I participated in a symposium to discuss my research on live versus robotic companion animals in long term care facilities.
Having so much fun networking and idea sharing with this amazing group of people!
Sometimes it feels as though life can go by very quickly. Circumstances change, people change, relationships change, I change. Sometimes it feels as though nothing is really changing, until I look back with shock and wonder! Other times I feel like I am being railroaded; I hold my breath and hope for the best. Through it all, I do my best to live with an open heart, to love fully and completely, and above all, live with gratitude.
What surprised me the most when I sat down to write my gratitude list, was not the sheer quantity of things I am truly grateful for, but for how quickly the list flowed from my pen. I did the first hundred and fifty in less than an hour as I drank my morning tea with the dog at my feet. The next round was knocked out while driving to BC for a weekend of camping and white-water rafting with the family. Even as I created my list I was experiencing more and more things to be grateful for!
I have put together a list of my top 356 gratitudes, a whole year’s worth. I am going to be rolling one out everyday on Instagram and Facebook. I hope some of them resonate with you and I hope they help open the doors for even more gratitude to present in your life too.
