Reggie Rusk is a former professional American football cornerback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons.12 He currently serves as the NFLPA Chapter Secretary for the Houston chapter, a position he has held since March 2021.1

Born on October 19, 1972, Rusk's NFL career included stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1996-1997), Seattle Seahawks (1997-1998), and San Diego Chargers (1999-2001).12 After his playing career, Rusk transitioned into various roles related to sports and athlete development.

Rusk is the founder of Stay Recruited, an organization he established in February 2007 to address the information gap for disadvantaged youth in athletics.1 He's also a philanthropist, a 3-time Amazon best-selling author, and was inducted into the City College of San Francisco Hall of Fame.1

In addition to his work with Stay Recruited, Rusk has held positions such as:

  • National Director of Defensive Backs/Linebackers for Area Scouts (2010-2014)
  • Co-Owner of Next Level Sports Performance (2007-2015)
  • Athlete Ambassador for OpenSponsorship (June-December 2022)1

Rusk's educational background includes an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from City College of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Telecommunications Management from the University of Kentucky.1
