His expertise extends across pivotal areas like Private Equity, Public Credit, Private Credit, and Hedge Funds. Known for his foresight, he has invested as a seed and anchor investor in unique and innovative investment strategies.
Prior to his tenure at NYCRF, Mr. Tucker was instrumental as an Investment Officer at the Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds, managing a robust $25+ billion portfolio of alternative investments. His role there included the strategic sourcing and management of investments in key sectors such as Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, Real Assets, and Real Estate. Notably, he was responsible for managing Emerging Manager portfolios in both Private Equity and Venture Capital, further broadening his investment expertise by establishing a new Emerging Manager Hedge Fund allocation.
