Life brings new beginnings often through unexpected endings. My mother, Teresa Kratzman, was a superwoman of extraordinary capacity and fortitude. She earned her place on Wall Street through grit and hustle, philanthropically served her communities with gusto, and in her final act, transformed Iconic Modern Home into an award-winning, Inc. 5000 business. As President, she led with unrivalled conviction in the firm’s mission and channeled her passion for beauty into commercial achievement across the Hamptons, New York City, Connecticut, South Florida, and beyond. She was remarkable.
To honor her and drive the company further, I am proud to take on my mother's portfolio as interim Head of Growth. Her track record as a business catalyst is impressive, albeit intimidating. While I can never replace her, her example and standard for excellence will guide me as I help IMH continue to scale.
This opportunity to spearhead sales, business development, and growth initiatives in a market vertical outside my experience will no doubt challenge what I’ve learned as an investor and deeply enrich my venture career as an operator.
