Rem Koning is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Business School, focusing on researching how entrepreneurs, innovators, and managers navigate the challenges of building and strategizing in a world filled with biases and noise.

He obtained his PhD in Organizational Behavior from Stanford Graduate School of Business, pursued continuing education at Columbia University, earned a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, and studied Statistics & Mathematics for his BA & BS at the University of Chicago.

With a rich educational background that includes Stanford University, Rem Koning has held various prestigious positions, including the Mary V. and Mark A. Stevens Associate Professor and Assistant Professor roles at Harvard Business School.

His experience extends to diverse organizations such as the iSPIRT Foundation, where he volunteered, and the Innovate Delhi Entrepreneurship Academy, which he cofounded. Prior to his current role, he was also a PhD Candidate at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Rem Koning has additional experience as a Research Coordinator at Columbia Business School, a Project Intern at SHoP Architects, and a Research Assistant for renowned professors like James Evans at the University of Chicago and Marianne Bertrand at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
