Remi completed a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry at the University of Ibadan, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Wyoming. Subsequently, Remi pursued post-doctoral research in carbon-boron chemistry at Southern Methodist University.
Currently, Remi holds the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry and Department of Physics at Prairie View A&M University. Prior to this, Remi was a Professor at Long Island University Brooklyn Campus in New York.
