Renee Knake Jefferson is a distinguished legal professional with a strong background in academia and legal practice. She obtained her JD from the University of Chicago Law School in 1999. Currently, she holds the prestigious position of Professor of Law with tenure and the Doherty Chair in Legal Ethics at the University of Houston Law Center. Previously, she served as a Board Trustee at Michigan State University and held the Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at RMIT University. Renowned for her expertise, Renee was a tenured Professor of Law at Michigan State University and also gained experience as an Assistant City Attorney at the City of Charlottesville.
