Renée van Heusden is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in international relations, political economy, and community development.

She holds a Master of Science in International Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master's Degree in International Relations from the University of Groningen, and has studied International Trade and Development at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.

Renée has held various key roles in prestigious organizations, including the World Economic Forum where she led projects focused on decarbonizing steel and aluminum, was the Head of Community Development for Regional Strategies in Europe, and served as a Senior Community Manager for Oil & Gas as a Global Leadership Fellow.

Prior to her roles at the World Economic Forum, she gained valuable experience at ABN AMRO Holding USA LLC as a Relationship Manager for Commodities Energy, as well as in risk management positions such as Senior Country Risk Manager and Country Risk Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank N.V.

Renée's early career included positions as an International Management Trainee and an Intern at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., as well as roles at the EC Liaison Office in Brussels and the Permanent Mission of the Netherlands to the UN in New York. She also held leadership positions within JOVD, a Dutch political youth organization.

Renée van Heusden's expertise lies in project management, community development, risk analysis, commodities energy, international relations, and political economy. Her extensive experience across various sectors and geographies has shaped her into a well-rounded professional with a strong track record of success.
