Hey LinkedIn Fam, I COULD USE YOUR HELP
A dear friend of my mine (Jess Watts) is working with UCLA on the first academic study on pay equity in the ad industry in thirty years. The goal of the study is to ensure ad employees are being paid fairly for their work regardless of their sex, gender, race, parental status, orientation. I know most agencies continue to complete their own pay equity analysis, but the completion of this study could serve as an industry benchmark to compare your internal efforts. What I love about this study is its coming from a university academic (non-bias) perspective, which could be interesting to see in comparison to our industry data. I’d appreciate if you could take the survey and encourage your agencies to participate as well.
The totally anonymous salary survey went live last week and will probably be open for 2-3 weeks. See link below: https://lnkd.in/gdGUu9kZ Once study is complete, I’ll be sure to share via LinkedIn. Spread the word!
Shout out to Jess Watts for keeping this conversation going AND for doing the work! xoRe
