Highlights
Our PD team usually works just with our attorney population, but occasionally we get a chance to host programs with our professional staff teams and it is always so much fun! Rebecca Jackson and I had the best time leading a workshop on trust and communication with one of our teams last week, complete with improv-based exercises. I'm grateful they trusted us enough to play a game of Frostbite - complete with blindfolds! Working in more ambitious interactive exercises has become such a fun way to make lessons concrete and more engaging.
Whew, another summer associate retreat in the books! We had a great time getting to know all of our stellar summers and giving them a preview of how the PD team works with our associates on their substantive skills, professional skills, and mentoring relationships. Programs by partners Paul Fishman and Joseph Greenaway, Jr. were highlights, as always! (And for the record the stuffed animals in the picture were for a community service project, not for the attendees.) Huge thanks to Claire Nash, Lindsay Gordon, and Emily Fenster for the hard work in running a program like this and making it look so effortless for the attendees.
