Highlights
I've just build a personal "Cloud SQL factory" with Pulumi and Python.
The idea is to have a YAML with an array of [db_name, user_name, optional_user_pass], and then pulumi up and it adds those as needed to a single MySQL and PostgreS Cloud SQL instances. Anyone interested in an article to teach you to do the same?
- app_name: another-mysql-app
db_name: another-my-db
db_type: my
user_name: another-user
user_pass: Here I set a password
- app_name: l200-week1
db_name: chat-dev
db_type: pg
user_name: ch4t-d3v
- app_name: l200-week1
db_name: chat-prod
db_type: pg
user_name: ch4t-pr0d
``` => adds them to my two instances.
... and if any rubyist out there helps me finding a similar rapid prototyping chat platform like streamlit,mesop,niceguy I'll buy you multiple beers.
