Riccardo Tommasini

Assistant Professor

Riccardo Tommasini is an expert in Stream Reasoning with a background in software engineering and a focus on RDF Stream Processing (RSP) engines and Information Flow Processing.

He spent time at the Kno.e.sis center of the Wright State University where he honed his skills in Semantic Web technology.

Currently pursuing a PhD, Riccardo's research interests include Information Integration techniques, the relationship between complex event processing (CEP) and rule-based reasoning, and temporal extension of DL reasoning.

Riccardo's educational background includes a Master's degree and a Doctorate in Computer Science, both from Politecnico di Milano.

His professional experience ranges from being an Assistant Professor at the University of Tartu to roles such as Research Fellow, Software Engineer, Freelance Blogger, and IT Manager.
