Richard D. Guthrie, Jr., MD, CPE is the Chief Quality Officer at Ochsner Health. He is responsible for overseeing patient safety and clinical quality across all Ochsner Health facilities.1 Dr. Guthrie earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Orleans and graduated from Louisiana State University Medical School in 1986.1 He completed his internal medicine training, including residency and chief residency, at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation.1
