Another #lostloyalty moment. Many of us flip flop between Rogers Communications and Bell or others like TELUS or even Loblaw Companies Limited new No Name wireless which rides on Bell. This is my 5 min journey to saying goodbye to Rogers. My plan hit two years and I was free to shop around. I was in my Bell Fibe/internet account and saw a $40 offer for mobile...perfect fit and almost the same as my Rogers package. I had just received the below 2 year loyalty "celebration" email from Rogers and it was useless, no value, no reason to stay, no incentive or great love shared 💔. So when I saw the Bell offer, I went to Rogers and messaged live with their agent. I pasted the Bell package / offer and asked if Rogers could match. NOT EVEN close, she said said sorry, farewell in less that 3 mins. She apologized and said they could only do $73 which was $6 bucks less that what I was paying but was $33 more than the Bell offer.
A failed CRM and customer loyalty journey for sure. The email below arrived a couple of days after I switched.....then a phone call with a grand offer. I hung up. I had already moved on. See you in a couple of years ...I guess. Thoughts on the ridiculous monopoly and game? 📱 📞
