Currently serving as a consultant at Harford-Porter Consulting LLC, he utilizes his extensive experience to assist organizations in building impactful educational programs and strategies aimed at fostering post-secondary success. His expertise is deeply rooted in his previous experiences in various capacities at notable organizations, particularly in the realm of program development and education.
Previously, Richard held the position of Career Development Consultant at Year Up, where he dedicated his efforts to bridging the opportunity gap for young adults by providing them with the skills and experiences necessary for professional success. His role as Curriculum and Program Design Consultant at iMentor saw him designing innovative programs that continue to inspire students towards pursuing higher education.
In his capacity as the National Director of Post-Secondary Success at iMentor, Richard played an instrumental role in developing initiatives that supported students' transitions from high school to college, ensuring they received the necessary support and guidance. His leadership capacity was further exemplified during his tenure as Vice President of Training & Evaluation at the Chicago Scholars Foundation, where he contributed to enhancing training programs aimed at empowering students to excel academically and beyond.
