Richard Tofel is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in various prestigious organizations.

He graduated with an AB in American Government and Politics from Harvard University and furthered his education by obtaining a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School.

Throughout his career, Richard has held prominent roles such as President at ProPublica, General Manager at ProPublica, VP, General Counsel & Secretary at The Rockefeller Foundation, and Assistant Publisher at The Wall Street Journal.

He has also contributed his expertise as an Instructor in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow in the same department.
