Richie Hofmann

Richie Hofmann is an accomplished poet and dedicated educator with a strong passion for the arts and culture, actively seeking opportunities within arts organizations, foundations, higher education, and arts philanthropy.

His educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Writing Seminars from The Johns Hopkins University, a Stegner Fellowship at Stanford University, a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English Language and Literature from Emory University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Literature and Visual Culture from Boston University, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Richie has held various roles in prestigious organizations, such as being a Jones Lecturer in Poetry and a former Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University, a Dramaturgy Intern at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, a Creative Writing Instructor at the Center for Talent Development, a Creative Writing Fellow in Poetry at Emory University, an Instructor at the Kenyon Review Young Writers Workshop, and a Graduate Coordinator for the President's Series focusing on Literature of Social Import at Johns Hopkins University.

He has also contributed to the literary world as a former MFA Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins University, an Assistant to the Curator for the Raymond Danowski Poetry Library Reading Series at Emory University, a Ph.D. Candidate and Teaching Fellow at Emory University, an Acquisitions Intern at The MIT Press, and an Editorial Intern at Oxford University Press.
