In a conversation I had yesterday with a group of female leaders, I was asked,

The question gave me pause for a moment; I wasn't sure what to say, but since I've learned to answer these types of questions with the very first thing that comes to mind, I reflected briefly on my last few weeks of travel and replied, “I engage with art.”
The person after me answered, “Be in nature. Connect with nature somehow.” As other answers followed, I couldn’t help but think about how this shifts when we are in ambiguity...

Why do we put such #limitations on ourselves in getting curious and imagining what’s #possible?
To many, the mere prospect is paralyzing.
We cannot get #curious if we’re frightened that there is something we will uncover that we shouldn't have.
We cannot get to #breakthrough if we don’t allow ourselves to let go of expectations and fall squarely into the proverbial abyss.
When we align with what is empirically proven, locked into legacy knowledge, then we lose hope. With a constricted sense of what is possible, there is no hope.
So be illogical—let go of the cognitive knowing.
This is part of the foray into the #unknown: the gathering of threads from the unknown that allows us to weave a fabric of hope, a fabric of possibility that is not delusional, but rather recognizes that we have to bring things in from the outside of normal.
